Michelle (mom) and I have been scheduling and rescheduling this photo shoot. Between the girls being sick and the weather it took us a bit to get it done, but here it is. This past Sunday we braved the windy, and threatening rainy weather and headed out. The girls were completely cold at first (see first image), but we moved into the trees a bit to get cover and it they got better! I had tons of fun and am very pleased with what we created. Jolene is one of my very best friends. She has a soft heart, and a beautiful person inside and out. We had the opportunity to do some maternity photos for her while I was home visiting. We had gorgeous light, only lasted about 10 minutes, but enough to capture some beauty. At 22 weeks Jolene still has a ways to go, but certainly showing enough for us to capture some memories. I hope you enjoy literally only a few of my favorites:)

Brooklyn

I had the privilege to photograph this beautiful Miracle, Brooklyn, while visiting family in Dawson Creek. Brooklyn turns one on the 11th, but we had a bit of an early celebration. She is the adorable daughter of a great friend of mine, since middle school. Brooklyn is full of spunk! Not yet walking, but sure on the move. I had the pleasure of photographing this young couple last weekend. You could sense true love in the air. We had a good time photographing Cody and Leanne, starting at the ceremony site, then down to the KVR Tressel and finally to an old rickety, rustic barn. Such a beautiful couple. This past weekend I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful couple, Coco and Christian. The ceremony took place at the walnut beach resort, on a beautiful sunny day in the okanagan. We finished off with photos at the Burrowing Owl Winery. You could see the love between this couple immediately, while Christian already has down pat, "what ever you would like dear" and checking for snakes in the orchard.
